First visiting lecture (online) within WP2 will take place on 9th February, 2021. Lecturer: professor Arjan Diepstra, UMCG, University of Groningen, title: ‘Biology of B-cell lymphoma’
Abstract: The lecture provided an overview of biology of normal B-cells and B-cell lymphomas. Several molecular aspects of normal B-cell development and differentiation were described. The main focus of the lecture was on the events leading to lymphomagenesis and molecular background of B-cell lymphomas. Several most common types of B-cell lymphomas were discussed along with their etiology, pathology and characteristic features.
