Management Board Meeting took place on 14th February 2022. Partners summed up the first year of the project implementation.
Despite the difficulties associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to accomplish most of the tasks scheduled in the project for 2021.
The following activities were implemented:
a) 4 lectures in the form of webinars:
- Biology of B-cell Lymphoma,
- Unusual expression pattern of the negative NF-ĸB regulator miR-181a and its role in classical Hodgkin lymphoma,
- Multi-OMICS analysis in MYC-translocated leukemias and lymphomas: from B-cell development to biomarkers,
- Modeling mantle cell lymphoma in mice and therapeutic targeting of its cell-of-origin,
b) 2 workshops:
- GO2-IP procedure and data analysis,
- BioIT analysis of RNA, ATAC and ChIP sequencing datasets,
c) 1 transferable skills training for young scientists,
d) 2 soft skills seminars dedicated to ethics in the use of laboratory animals and entrepreneurship,
e) 1 Hematology Day dedicated to acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
We have also started the implementation of researchers’ mobility.
In the mentioned period in the Institute of Human Genetics PAS two new hematological projects were initiated and 4 scientific publications in this field were published.
Apart from that, we managed to identify common research topics, which will be developed in the form of scientific publications and research projects.
Another year of challenges ahead and we keep working to step up research excellence in the field of hemato-oncology
